Women In Need Of Scrapbooking (WINOS)
is an annual scrapbooking retreat held in Nuriootpa, in the heart of South Australia’s beautiful Barossa Valley. Established in 2018, WINOS has become a much-loved event for scrapbookers and card makers alike. Originally a two-day retreat, it has expanded to a three-day event in 2026 due to its growing popularity.
Traditionally held on the last weekend of October, WINOS offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy uninterrupted creative time. Whether you love scrapbooking or card making, you’ll have plenty of hours to work on your projects, relax, and connect with fellow crafters.
Throughout the weekend, Julie provides optional creative challenges, along with plenty of prizes and giveaways. You’ll also have the opportunity to refresh your skills and discover new ways to use Creative Memories products and tools through informal demonstrations and tips.
The retreat is held at the Nuriootpa Soldiers Memorial Hall, which offers ample off-street parking at the rear of the venue. For your convenience, you can leave your crafting supplies set up overnight (at your own risk), so there’s no need to pack everything away at the end of each day.
WINOS is a welcoming and friendly retreat where you can spend quality time with like-minded people, enjoy a relaxed creative atmosphere, and perhaps even make some lasting friendships. While Julie is a Creative Memories Independent Advisor, you are not restricted to using Creative Memories products. Feel free to bring along your favourite supplies from any brand and simply enjoy creating together.
